Brown Paper Beef is Priced by the Take Home Pound

We sell a fixed amount of beef by the "package" or final weight. In other words, you pay by the pound for the amount of beef you will take home and put in your freezer and you'll take home the amount of beef that you order. There is no estimating involved. The price here on our website is the price you pay and the amount listed here is the amount you will receive.

Easy to Understand, Easy to Compare

We think this is the most straightforward and easy to understand method and it lets you compare the price of our beef to that of your local supermarket (they have competitive prices but lower quality) or whole grocers (they have higher prices for similar quality - though try finding 21 day dry-aged beef there!).

Quality Cuts & No Filler

We only provide the best quality cuts in our beef packages. Our roasts are all boneless as are our steaks unless they traditionally come with bones (e.g. t-bones). We don't include cuts in our packages that you probably won't use but would increase the package weight (and therefore your cost). You won't find things like low quality ribs, dog bones, 7 bone roasts, poorly trimmed cuts, offal or the like in our beef packages.

As a result, our packages are about 15% lighter (less bone!) than most standard beef packages. This saves you freezer space, and more importantly, money.

If you would like the Liver, Tongue, Heart or Kidney, they are available free with your order on a first come, first serve basis. Just let us know what you'd like at the time you place your order. Dog bones are also available free at your request.

Custom Orders

We offer custom processing on whole beef orders only. If you would like to order a whole beef and have it cut to your specifications, just let us know. There's no extra charge for this service!

Substitutions

In the unlikely event that we need to make a substitution, we will always make the substitution in your favor (i.e. greater quantity and/or better quality cuts).
